One shoulder, because really, who needs two?

My dress collection is not what I wish it to be, but until I can afford the dresses that I love love love, I online window shop and dream of a lovely closet of dresses, such as Color Me Katie's. But lately, I've been dreaming of one shoulder dresses... I remember when I was about 11 I had this vibrant yellow, one shoulder shirt that I absolutely loved, but I haven't owned anything one shouldered since!  Such a shame.  I've found some of the most lovely dresses via Polyvore:

I bought for my sister to wear at my wedding in Jamaica! Isn't it pretty?! I may just have to borrow it...

This is my favourite photo that I took in Mexico last year - and it was one out of a single roll of film that I brought with me. My fiance and I were meant to get up at the crack of dawn to take a photo at sunrise... and surprise surprise, I go to wake Mr. up and he rolls over and groans, haha. I snapped a few photos and came back to bed moments later, only to find all 6'4" of him stretched across the entire bed!

I don't usually accompany my photos with stories, but I thought this one was worthy :)

H'Okay, so...

This has absolutely nothing to do with DIY, or recycling, or thrifting, or photography, BUT, I promised my big sister I would do it.

And now I present to you...

Last night's dinner:

Beer

AND

Pancakes! (from scratch - so kind of DIY... haha)

Yes, beer and pancakes. Little nutritional value. Delicious.

I'm Alive!

I bet you were beginning to wonder... Life has been a nut house as of late, but I think I'm finally beginning to figure a few things out - which means I'll be getting back to the blog!

So as I'm sure you've noticed, I haven't exactly strictly followed my whole 'photo a day' thing, but I'm working on it! So here's another photo for today :)
