Saturdays and Nights

So over the next week I'm going to be MIA, also known as going to visit my family which includes my incredibly artistic sister and her two little boys.  We always say we're going to get up to all sorts of projects aaaaand we usually just end up talking the entire time and get absolutely nothing done!  And not that I'm complaining, having talks that last into the wee hours of the next day are absolutely lovely, but we're both quite creative and I'm always sad when we don't get up to some artful things.  So this time is going to be different!  This time, we're going to tie-dye!  Nothing fabric will be safe!  And not even the rain can stop us, as my sister has a covered deck, mwahaha!  Too far?  Okay, well, here are a few examples of tie-dyed lovelies -- hopefully ours will turn out just as wonderful, or even more wonderful than these -- stay tuned for photos when I return next week :)

Photo Friday - One Love Photo

I came across this wonderful photography while perusing blogs and when I checked out their portfolio and their blog (definitely check out the BLOG!) I realized that I've seen their photos all over the world wide web!  They've utterly fantastic.  I'm officially addicted.  I think they should adopt me and teach me their photography ways... it would be photography heaven...  well, while I dream, you should check out some of their photos I've posted!  And the very last one, well, that's one of my most favourite photos.

Thrifty Thursdays -- My Blue Suede Shoes

I went thrifting last week!  Aaaaand again this week.  But my favourite find so far are my blue shoes.  They were a whopping $7 and not only are they pretty, but they're comfy too!  I never thought I'd be one of those girls who has a closet full of shoes... but when I find vintage shoes like this... well, let's just say I need to start making some more space.

Wedded Wednesdays

Another pretty wedding to drool over?  Okay!  I think this couple has found the most amazing location for their photos -- I don't think there are enough old, vintage-looking brick buildings out there for photo ops -- then again, I do live in Western Canada which is about as old as.. well, we're pretty much still in diapers compared to the rest of the world!  Anyhow, check out this wonderful wedding via 100 Layer Cake:

Tuesday Tunes

I was hoping to be able to add a playlist to my post, but I don't know how!  If anyone happens across this post and knows how, give me a few tips : )  But until I get that figured out, I'm just going to post a couple links.

Anything goes Mondays

This Monday I'm dreaming about hammocks... outdoor hammocks AND indoor hammocks, oh yes!  When I have a home of my own there will be plants and flowers everywhere, bright and happy colours, and hammocks!
